And we are live!

The paint is dry, the pool is crystal clear, Fred the pool-cleaning robot is switched on, the rosé is chilling. We are ready to open the doors to Le Manoir and welcome guests. And we can’t wait.

Le Manoir de Valentine is a 5-bed rustic house in rural France, about an hour South West of Toulouse and now available to hire by the week. A week at Le Manoir offers the opportunity to either chill out by the pool or to challenge yourself with something more strenuous, such as a stage of the Tour de France or a vigorous hike in the Pyrenees.

Owned by lawyer and environmentalist Robert, Le Manoir is a home-from-home which is being shared with guests during high-season. As it is Robert’s home, it comes with a feel of homeliness you don’t always get from a holiday rental. The kitchen is equipped for a budding Masterchef winner with range cooker, double sink, large fridge and full-size freezer and a stocked larder (which works as an honesty box). There is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The formal living room, known as the "library" as it is stocked with books, opens out onto the kitchen garden and is complemented by a large family room which is set up with games, kids’ books, a large television and a DVD player.

The master bedroom is 35 square metres and has a walk-in shower and deep copper tub. There are a further two doubles; one with its own en-suite and one sharing a “Jack & Jill” bathroom with a twin room - a perfect set up for young families. The top floor has a further large bedroom with three single beds and a separate family bathroom.

The house sleeps 10 adults comfortably or can flexibly sleep 6 adults and 6/7 children.

Set in 2 acres of land, with fruit trees, BBQ, pool with pool hut and patio off the kitchen, Le Manoir is on the edge of the village of Valentine, where you can walk to the épicerie for morning croissants or visit one of three local restaurants. There is also an artisan pizza van weekly.

Valentine is in the Occitanie region of France and offers the perfect base to explore the Pyrenees or pop (yes pop over) to Spain. Day trips to well known locations such as Bagnères de Luchon, Lourdes or Carcassonne are all possible. We can also help you organise kayaking on the Garonne, climbing, cycling and much more.
